TORC Las Vegas Season Finale
This past weekend marked the season finale of the first season of TORC racing. Racing was held right north of Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Speedway facility.
You may remember the SCORE Terible’s Cup race at the same track. Track condition where terrible on Friday but improved by Saturday. The dry track created so much dust that the spectators where unable to follow the event. Team spotters where forced to quit their spotting duty to their drivers as they could simply not make out enough detail to be of any help.
Some racers noted that they didn’t care much for the track but its part of the series and a true champion will handle them all.
Lots of watering, some other track work and improved weather condition made for an improved showing on Saturday.
Rob McCachren, Rick Huseman and Jeff Kincaid earned the championships in Pro2, Pro4 Pro4×4, and ProLite.
