Default Tube Keeps Losing Air - Please Help

I recently put Bridgestone Ultra Heavy Duty tubes and Maxxis Desert tires on my 450x. For some reason, which I can't find, I'm slowly losing air, to the tune of over One (1) Lb per DAY! I put 15 lbs in last night and this morning it's down to 13.

I know that air loss is normal, but i would think 1 Lb per WEEK maybe.

I've removed the tube multiple times to make sure it wasn't pinched. I've done 2 water submersion tests and found ZERO bubbles. The valve core seems good, under water no bubbles.

I'm filling the tires with C02, could that be the problem?

WTF???

Can someone please help me. Thanks.

Yes C02 always goes flat in my tires usually about a week. Use a normal pump, I don't know the reason but I do know I have the same problem when I use C02

I remember hearing talk that it will happen with c02 because its only good for short use-hence the co2 emergency cartidges. Something on a chemical level.

Just use normal air, and if you're worried about exact pressures run nitrogen.

Yes, CO2 is your problem it is more permeable through the rubber tube than compressed air.

Why would you be using CO2 so extensively?

sounds like the co2 was the issue.

i've been using it because i got a portable power tank that i was testing out.

will go back to compressed air.

thanks.

But maybe you can get carbon offset credits from Algore for using Co2.

Actually I think its the other way around 'cuse you are putting CO2 into the atmosphere.
