Todays shooting:

A gunman killed one and injured five, police said, in a shooting Friday at the Orlando offices of an engineering firm where the suspect was let go more than two years ago.

The shooting set off an intense manhunt Friday afternoon until the alleged gunman, Jason Rodriguez, 40, was arrested without incident at his mother's Florida apartment building, police said.

Imagine what the outcry would be if either of these two shootings involed an evangelical who listened to talk radio and shouted "praise the Lord" as he started his rampage. CNN, MSNBC and the rest of em would be running a continuous loop for weeks decrying the hate that was festered via christianity and Rush Limbaugh.

I find it strange that the Ft Hood incident which involved a Muslim who perportedly yelled "God is great" in arabic is more being analyzed from a squishy "what made him do it" aspect when it is radical Islam that has declared war on the U.S.

I think, from what I have read, is they are going at the "what made him do it" aspect is due to the fact that from what reports from friends and family are saying is he was never like this. the quite ones are always the ones you have to worry about anyways
