O.K. Most of you know this!
How do you adapt a c-4 transmission to a v6 4.0 that use to be stick?

i'm sure someone will know better, BUT, i think you will need......

the bellhousing from a old pinto that had a C-4 and a V6 in it
the starter from the same vehicle
the flexplate from the same vehicle
tourq converter
then the obvious..... shifter, drive shaft, tranny cooler, tranny mount, etc etc etc....

the bellhousing from an early to mid 80`s bronco II will work to. I forget the specific years, sorry.

It also depends on whether you have a 6-bolt or 8-bolt crankshaft. The 6-bolt is easy, the 8 bolt is custom. I think they changed over somewhere around 2000.

I hear early ranger c-3/c-5 bellhousings for the 2.8 v-6 fit.
