PBR,

We're thinking of doing the same thing to our 304 stainless headers, but some people say to avoid it like the plague. I was hoping someone with actual experience might chime in and give us the pros/cons.

5 mins on the web and I found this thread warning people about Jet-Hot: Club Cobra (http://www.clubcobra.com/t2103.html)

I just scanned it, but there seemed to be a lot of vendors there.

Good luck, and let us know what you decide!

Billy

We have the Jet Hot coating on the headers on our northstar and they are great. The finish is not too much of a chrome look but it keeps the headers well covered and protects them from rocks etc. We have no problems what so ever with the Jet Hot coating peeling or discoloring. I am not sure who Redline Performance used to make our headers and get them coated but they did a great job. If you really want I can give Redline a call and see who they used.

Before We coated the headers on the TT they would cook your feet. Now much improved. Plus they clean up a lot better. I would do it.

I have used Jet Hot on allmy drag cars and would not have one without. Just a few minutes after a run and the headers and coll enough to work on the engine. I plan on having the header on my 7s done too.

Just make sure that the header is really really clean before you have it coated.

go to HPC, they were the first, and are the best! check my sponsor page, they are not a supporter of my team, just the best in the buisiness.

billy, there are definate advantages to coating even SS headers. HP is one, durability is another.

Sweet! Sounds like a must have. Ross, I didn't find HPC on your site but here's some links for those interested.
