I need to have my speedo recalibrated. I have 35's and a C-6 tranny if it matters. I have been told to buy some little gears that go in my tranny from a Ford dealer. The only problem is there are several choices and I do not know which ones to buy. Are they hard to install? My speedo is off about 10 mph. Any help would be appreciated. Brian

you need to know the % its off, not miles. then count the teeth on the old gear and get one with the same amount different on the new one. worked for me that way

they are small plastic gears you get from ford they are not that expensive i just counted mine and bought the next couple sizes. there is only so many available. some times you cant get the right gear to get the speedo exzact. is the speedo fast or slow? if its fast use a larger gear to slow down the cable. or vise versa for a slow speedo 10 mph should take a couple teeth to change in my experiences.
