Hi, my name is Roberto and I am from Mexicali, living in Detroit, but traveling around the US. I started going to baja races very young, when the 1000 used to start on my back yard in the west part of Mexicali. Used to ride an XR75 as a kid then the 110 three-wheler (remember those?), then joined a motorcycle Racing Team as chaser/pit crew for several years until I had to start working; in the last couple of years I been coming down from Detroit to help Omar (La Plazita/Tiburon team) whenever I can. I work for a US corporation in Detroit as an Industrial Engineer -I also study for graduate degree. I've been reading the posts in reze-dezert for a while and finally decided to join, I hope I can be of value to the forums when I express my opinions and maybe entertain with some stories: I love Baja and have been down-and-up the peninsula several times for racing, partying, scuba, fishing, etc. lot's of adventures and experiences to share.
