I need to make a decision on tyres to use on my buggy. the tyres available to me are the following:
1. Goodyear Wrangler MTR
2. BF Goodrich Baja TA
3. BF Goodrich Mud Terrain TA
The terrain we race on is varied and can include rock, desert type sand, mud as well as normal gravel type roads and paths.
What would be a good choice?
There may be other tyres that I could get hold of which I have not considered.

I have done a search, and most of the tyres you guys talk about are not available to me. I am only able to readily get the tyres I have mentioned. I don't think the tyre people here would not even understand if I had to use the word "project" in a sentence concerning tyres.
From what I gather, the 15" Baja TA's are still the old tread pattern. Any comment on my other 2 choices.

Baja All terrain, your ridding in all kind of terrain, mud terrain are heavier and get more traction, but would be good only if you have the horsepower to move em. At least thats what i learned from the previous tire threads.....Dont know the goodyears...

what sizes are you running front and rear? and what do you have for a motor? I am assuming the pic in your avatar is your buggy.

Another option is ATS Motorsports. They stock the Mickey Thompson line including our off road racing tires. Their number is 27-0-11-670-8400.

from the looks of your car, the 31's seem small. maybe you should try the 33x10.50x15 tires from BFG. The mud terrains and the Baja's both work very well. there is a price difference though. I think maybe you should try both the baja's and the mud's, and see what you like better. If the Mud's work the way you want, they are definitely less expensive.
