Pre-Runner Pics

Here are some pics of our pre-runner and how we kept the bed and saved some room for all the needed items for pre-running in Baja, like the 100 quart cooler and same size action packer but also getting 18"s of travel.

We will be pre-running the Vegas to Reno race this weekend, so stop by and say hi.

Oh yeah, we put the Total Chaos front end on it with two tube Fox By-passes as well. We took it out for its maiden voyage a week and a half ago and it did pretty well with a full cooler in the back. I think I even got the rear a little too stiff for the extra weight, but we will figure that out this weekend when we pack it up for the pre-run.

No problem, I will have to take it later today when the snow melts off of it! It had about 2 inches of snow on it this morning!

I took the pictures today and forgot to bring my cable for my camera to put the pictures on the computer, it will be tomorrow morning on my way out the door to Vegas!

I know I am a slacker for not painting it yet, its got a little rust, but I was going to add a couple of gussets. Not to mention our last race got in the way and I had to go back to prepping the race truck and setting this one aside!

It's really a pretty mellow pre-runner but it gets the job done on a limited budget having a race truck and all. Not to metion all the cervesa's we can carry!!!!!!!!!!

Good to see that Nick's old truck is still around I thought it was taken apart and sold off in pieces. I think if you guys crank a little more load into that coilover you can full acheive 1" of down travle! hehe http://www.race-dezert.com/vb3/attachments/old/images/graemlins/smile.gif

where the heck is it snowing this time of year?....geez im going to the beach, and its warm enough to trunk it. gotta love SD..........by the way good set up in the back. are you going to have any trouble with the cooler and packer moving around back there when you prerun?

well we just got done with the vegas to reno pre-run and the cooler and action packer stayed right were they were supposed to. 2 ratchet straps, one over the top and one around the back hold everything in place real well.

I can vouch for the cooler and action packer not moving... followed the blue truck for 300 miles this weekend, and it deffo didn't move!
