GSPEED

I have been involved in desert for 8 years and have crewed with several teams. The last team was with Nick Vanderweys' class 8 truck. I decided I wanted to get in the drivers seat so I started researching wha to buy. I looked into 9 cars used 8 trucks and finally decided to buy a already built jeepspeed car. I am car 1722, I was the jeepspeed car at the last mdr race letting everyone faster than me to go by even guys in my own class. I was our first race and we where making good time till the rear axle went away and that was the end of our day.
I work as the new and used reconditioning manager at Shumacher European, a mercedes dealer. The cool thing is my boss rides mx in the desert and is very good. He rode with Mark Miller and Ragland the other day. I am hoping he can arrange a ride and drive in one of their trophy trucks.
I have two young children, a boy and a girl, and have been married for 6 years to a great wife who finally gets why I want to get into the deset evey once in awhile.
