What do you guys think is a good performance clutch for a four banger ranger. I have heard Luk's is the way to go.

I had a centerforce in my ranger a while back, but I like my c4 with no clutch a lot better.

One of my friends had a centerforce clutch in his ranger, it was pretty good, a lot better feeling than stock.

I've been putting ceneterforce clutches in everything from 4x4s with 44's to 10 second street racers and they seem to work awesome. Only thing is the weights on the center of the clutch click until higher rpms and it unnerves some people. A loud engine or good sound proofing quiets it up though.

One more vote for Centerforce. I slip the one in my jeep like you would on a dirtbike and its still alive after almost 3yrs of abuse. Get the dual-friction.

Centerforce all the way. Its the only thing that has lived with the way that I drive. I also agree with the dual friction. I think thats the one right below the race one.

What I've done with two of my Rangers is convert them to Thunderbird Turbocoupe T-5 transmissions and used the Turbocoupe clutch. Turbocoupes come from the factory with heavy duty clutches & the trannys are stronger and cheaper.....not what you were looking for, but just a side note.........
