Coil Over S10 Conversion

We're converting my s10 to coilovers (8" SAW's) over the next couple weeks and was wondering if anyone had pics and/or advice from their s10's.

Yes, I know the s10 sucks, let's get that out the way first, but I can't even give the POS away so I'm forced to build it how I want.

This is the only picture I could find... I've got a bunch more from other S-10s but they are probably on a CD somewhere that's being used as a coaster.

Plate in the area around the coil bucket and re-enforce the upper arm mounts. Lots of guys get plasma / grinder happy in those areas and bad things happen when you jump the truck.

I've had coil over's for about 7 months now. They don't work really good when they're still in the box though. There isn't a lot of room to work with in there, but like Jeff said, plate where the coil bucket was, and don't forget about the upper arm mounts. Here is one other pic I had.

i did that but i had a 10" king in there. ill try to get pictures i dont have the same computer anymore so i dont have any pictures. I posted pics when i got it done on rdc somewhere i dont rememeber the name of the thread though. I dunno if its the right way but we cut my entire coil bucket out and put a piece of plate in it i thinkit was 3/16 plate and heated it and formed it into the hoel that was left in the frame. Also i dithced the arm mounts and put heims on my upper arm and just put tabs on the frame. any questions pm me ill try to help.

Ha ha... yeah fish.. two toyotas tuggin against my ten! Remember S-10 torque will pull stumps! Plus why ruin a perfectly good chevy when there are so many yota's worth trashin out there! lol... Thanks for the laugh though Fish.
