check out the unsafe 102 thread. There are some pictures of the Orbit Eye spring that AOR builds. We run them on our race truck and haven't had a problem. www.aor4x4.com (http://www.aor4x4.com)

I used Rubicon Express's version of the Johhny joint on my Jeep and I thought they transmitted too much road vibration.
They are pretty easy to repair/replace, and with a zerk on them easy to lube.

As I recall the Currie parts use snap rings for retention of the bearing halves where the RE parts use a solid shoulder with a screw wear adjuster.

ive been running 2.5" johnny joints on my upper and lower a-arm pivots on my toyota for over 2 years now WITHOUT any problems. and i have really punished them to death. they are still holding strong.

the Curries also have johnny joints on all the pivots of the 4-link on their f-150 prerunner that james hall built. and on the radius arms as well. no problems there either.

Thom,
the RE ones use a snap ring as well.
The other side uses a threaded collar adjuster to keep the joint in.
