I was planning on running the Axle assembly out for a polaris sportsman 700 for our baja car but I'm a little worried about the outer CV interfereing with the lower arm as the suspension drops out so I'm trying to come up with a back up plan. I'm looking for a CV that has a fairly small OD (about 2") and is as short as possible if you know of anything.

Thanks,
Matt

Check out gkn. http://www.gkndriveline.co.uk/

We run their cv's on our formula car. They make a cv joint thats freakin tiny, however we don't run the tiny ones cause they're pretty pricey, but a few cars had them at comp last year. The tiny ones are pretty damn cool.

Thanks DPPatrol, I'll check that link out.

1992f150, U-joints would work as well. I'm pretty confident that the CV's that we bought will work but I'm just looking for a plan B incase they don't work out. We tried forever to get dimensions for the CV's so we could model them in CAD and make sure everything cleared but we didn't have much luck getting overall dimensions so I won't know for sure until they get delivered to us.
