The driver side ibeam bent pretty bad when i came down off a jump. i did not have the 3rd member in and i think that had something to do with it. the beam i just rebuilt i am going to truss the hell out of it. well here are the pictures.

i dont think it would have bent if you had the 3rd member in. the way the beam is attached on the lt side reinforces it to the 3rd member. i had a 94 ranger 4x4 and never had that problem. curt leduc reinforces his beams across the front of the beam. but i think the missing 3rd member had alot to do with it. why did you not have it in there?

been there done that. I have bent the d35 with the diff in it before, yet was still able to drive home. I would plate the new set on the front and back. Autofab does this i think for like 200 bucks and it is extremely beffy, of course any reputable fab shop can also do this. Your TTB looks really tweeked i would have to say that it bent to that extreme because of the diff not being in there. Mine bent closer to the pivot point because the radius arm absorbed most of the blow. Were you able to drive it home?

i was only 10 mins from my house so i was able to drive it home.

I had a set of autofabs reinforced D35 beams & punished them hard & never had any problems with them or the entire kit

my only suggestion is plating the backside of the beam at the pivot point and part way down the beam, that is where mine bent when i didnt have plated beams. I figure you plated the passenger side beam also, looks good. Have fun trying to break them again, your radius arm will be the next weak link in the system so you might want to look at that next.

For what it's worth...here's the backside of my passenger-side TTB. It's from autofab. as previously stated, it's pretty stout.

What are the specs on the square tube you used to make the truss with?
