It looks to me that the seat could fold over and potentially collapse and break the bolt. The seat needs to be mounted with a larger flat surface. I think that the way it is, you would have seat movement even if you torqued the bolts down. What’s more stable standing on a pogo stick, or a block of wood? There are other ways of blocking up the seat beside that that would be safer.
