Thie guy is asking me to lift the front of his Dakota. Its a 90 2wd and i cant find spindles or uppers or anything for it. He isnt looking for anything fancy, just wants to clear some larger tires and have a clean look. He doesnt really want to go the route of a body lift. Is there anything out there to do this. any help is appreciated.

2wd Dakota lifts are few and far between, even for the new models. It's not really RACE-DEZERT related so you probably won't get much help here. Go over to www.DodgeDakotas.com (http://www.DodgeDakotas.com) and post your question there and you'll get a flood of "this has already been asked" responses. I recommend searching over at the above site to find out the information you seek - there are hundreds of posts dealing with just your question.
The proper designation for the Dakota is all 1987 through 1996 body styles are known as N body styles and the 1997 through 2003 are known as the AN body style. I own a 2000 Dakota and can without any doubt say it's one of the least supported (by the suspension lift aftermarket companies) 2wd trucks in history. I'd run away from this project or just tell the guy go with a body lift. The only company that I know that makes a kit for the Gen I / II Dakota is not a company that makes a product you want to run on your own truck, let alone installing it on some other guys truck.
Or you can slap a coil spacer in there and get 2" inches of almost alignable lift.
