If you cant afford to three link, what is just as good? I hear some leaf set ups can hang with link setups? do people still do quarter eliptical? Looking to save bucks on my f-100 ...but still want it to kick.....

You still have to run links even with elipticals in order to locate the axle. And i would imagine an eliptical pack could run you some serious cash.

A well setup leaf system will beat a poorly setup link system anyday. Talk to Deaver or National about getting some custom springs made for your truck. If you can do your own fabwork, you can get a complete rear end (shocks, shackles, leafs) for about $1400. You can get away with less $$ if you don't go bypass and can pick up some used parts.
