how hard is it to install one of the onboard air system kits? is it really worth the 5 hours labor they want to charge to install it?

I have one of the portable ones and like it.
Comes in a nice heavy bag that holds everything and will fit behind the seat or strapped down most anywhere.

The hardest part of installing one of those is mounting the tank and compressor. The rest is a cakewalk

I have only used it a couple times but it gets the job done on tires.
After my last plastic case cheapo went up in smoke it's nice to have something that can handle the job.

A buddy of mine has the 2 of the duel pump systems. He put them underneath his vehicles and has been happy with them. The duel pump system is good but it does not have real good power tool useage even with the tank. If you havent purchased yet, consider the Oasis systems. They draw some serious power but are almost as good as shop air compressors and no tank is needed. If you are looking for just tires and stuff, the viair systems are fine.
