We're goin', baby!
Just got the head put back together and running last night. We FINALLY fixed the freakin' rockers in the Rodslinger head so they should last more than 10 minutes without falling off. Well, that's the plan anyways. We're doing Vegas to Reno, too, so this is the big test! I've NEVER finished Yerington, so cross your fingers and toes for me.
As far as turn out, you'll probably see a LOT more cars than Sac. There's usually at least 3-4 Class 8 trucks, and a ton of Class 10 and Class 1 cars. Seems like there's some guys who only race desert who show up in every class. Yerington's a good one, because most of the drivers love the track, there's a cool parade through the middle of town the night before the race, they let us drive the race cars & trucks out to the track on the roads (escorted by Yerington's finest, of course), and there's always the big party in town and down at the Walker River. WOO HOO!!!!

Probably won't be racing in Yerington, too hard to get the whole weekend off (kinda busy in my line of work that weekend), but we might come up on Sunday to check out the race. We will definitely be racing Fallon. Got the truck fixed, it was just a loose negative wire on the fuel pump (nice easy/cheap fix).

I miss racing Yearington, that was a fun race. (if you don't know me I sold my race truck) I think I raced there about 3 times, DNF'd two of them and the one I finished I got 1st place. That was on the long 100 mile course. Usually there are alot of vehicles racing there.
