1/8 buggies

Any other 1/8 buggy guys in here? I just picked up an Kyosho MP7.5 Inferno (not the Kanai 1 or 2), and I'm waiting for my tax return money to get my motor, and radio. I can't wait. Can anyone give me some suggestions for a good motor, I'm looking at spending about $250 to $300. Was looking at either an O.S. RZV01B, or maybe an RB S7. I plan to start racing with it once I get used to driving it. Stepping up from an HPI Nitro MT Racer with an O.S. 15CVX Hyper.

i have an ofna hyper 7 pro in transit...should be here this week.

For your engine..i have a RB S7. I’ve been really pleased with it. It’s hard to beat for 200 dollars. It's got great torque and enough top end for those long straights.

I have always had good luck with O.S.just my .02 cents.Good luck at the truck,I used to race all over with my RC10gt,loved that thing till my house got broke in to and they stole my stuff.I'm sure you know ,but don't forget to swap out for a good heavy duty streering servo.
