Purple is the name of this forum because it is the resulting color of mixing blue with red. In the US the two major political parties are often represented by the color blue and red by the press. Since we welcome opinions and viewpoints from both sides of the political spectrum we opted for that name.
Any political subject is welcomed in this forum.
