Trey, this fits some of the Moonbattery you posted recently.

An excerpt: Freeganism is a total boycott of an economic system where the profit motive has eclipsed ethical considerations and where massively complex systems of productions ensure that all the products we buy will have detrimental impacts most of which we may never even consider. Thus, instead of avoiding the purchase of products from one bad company only to support another, we avoid buying anything to the greatest degree we are able.

Without capitalism, there would be great competition for the scraps these neo-Hippies live off of and certainly no medical care to treat their gastrointestinal diseases that occur frequently.

Of course, this is not something they consider.

Being poor would suck, but being poor intentionally is just silly.

What I think is funny is that they have a website. Is that a bit ironic?

And even if they had a free laptop (not hard to do) or use free WIFI, that web hosting was either donated or they pay.

Ah, such the paradox the Moonbat lives.

Why don't they move to Africa and really starve instead of playing house in the richest country in the world.

"Feel Good" Symbolism over Substance is the rule for liberals PW. I have yet to ever see an exception.

Interesting read,

Makes you think that a little American unity could do more good then endless bashing from each side.

Well, if it weren't for the diggers and largess of American society, the original hippies wouldn't have had anything to eat forty years ago.

The article aside as the declining value of the dollar is the primary factor in that contest.

Unity? The hypocrisy of the liberals on this forum including yourself is astounding but thoroughly typical of your ilk.

No matter what extensive data and fact is presented to you, your only rebuttal instead of a compelling argument are deflection and insults - all a clear indication of petulant intolerance of any view but your own.

Your kidding right! Intolerance...me....I laugh..dude I am more tolerant then you because I am willing to see your view and side of things and would be the first one to (and I have) agree with some of what you bombard us with.

No, I don't go on and oN and ON and ON posting Internet articles about how s h itty the Republican Party is and how bad the US is going to be if not elected into office but yet I am more then willing to except your point of view as well as everyone on here. I have never come out and bashed anyone other then the guy who said he wasn't going to vote, which, IMO, is stupid to waste your right that so many have died for.

Pat, you don't know me, I don't know you, the only reason we talk is because of this great www. thing. However I can guarantee you if we ever met I would have no problem buying you a beer for the simple fact that you and I are Americans and we both are allowed to our views but that doesn't mean your view is more right then mine, only Different. Nor does it give you the right to flame me, which you have done on a few occasions. The thread I started about you wasn't even mean spirited, it was just done in fun which I think it turned out to be in the long run.

I have said it before, neither group is perfect and right now the US is seeing some hard times and my only point about what was said above is we can not continue to fight amongst ourselves, we have to go beyond that and work together for a better America. We are losing the battle on a Global scale.

-Alex ( I think somewhere I said I was going to stay out of this :) )

All good points however, the left on this forum has yet to state a view.

Another good point but, does BO represent anything that is unifying besides his hollow platitudes? He surely is creating class warfare with his tax plans.

We are losing the battle on a Global scale.

But what battle? The battle of "Billionaires per capita"? That's gonna get worse as more US wealth is spirited offshore to avoid BO confiscatory tax agenda.

Whenever a third world or oppressed society is unshackled, Capitalism will run at full steam yet, unfortunately ripe with collusion, corruption and graft. That is certainly the activities of the former USSR, the new China and the emerging India. Watch Iraq add to that list within a decade.

I have strong solace that the US will remain as the worlds greatest innovator for a long time to come, and that is what drives value in investing in US securities and companies.

Honestly Pat, BO does make me a bit nervous but I am unsure about McCain as well and like I have said in the past I still have not said who I will be voting for come D-Day! Republican or Democrat, black or white, male of female, I wouldn't care as long as I feel they would be a strong leader
