He was refering to the 57 muslim states. But he is not muslim and he is not a radical and he is not a liberal. It just sounds that way because they are taking "snipets" of what he is saying. Even though you can hear the whole sentance all at once. Just keep your eyes on the shiney object, you're getting sleepy and sleepy........

Isn't this the same crap the left has been using to poke fun at Bush for the past 8 years? I think we can do a bit better.

Unfortunately, the demagogues of the left will continue to get free passes for many years to come.

I think it's just a poor attempt at humor. They have been campaigning for 15 months now. They've been everywhere two or three times now.

And we all know the reason they are given free passes, the vast majority of the media outlets in this country are liberal. NBC is openly rooting for Obama, so they decide it is in their best interest to never put him down. Sad state of affairs, when a NEWS company can be so blatantly biased and the people who watch and read their so called 'news' don't know any better.

You give us a quote on FOX News like Chris Matthews did on CNBC saying he has that tingling feeling running up his leg when Obamas speaking and then maybe we can include Fox as being biased.fOX IS BY FAR the news channel to get the news. Not the usual dribble of one way bs coming out of the mainstream.

Dudes...emotion has become such a significant part of this, and I'd be a liar if I said mine didn't impact my choices as well. plain and simple truth is, the next president people vote on is gonna be based on emotions. Barack Obama appeals to voters better than McCain ever can. I'm not gonna explain why, because if you are reading this and need a tutorial, you are better off changing your viewing pleasure to SpongeBob Squarepants.
Someone threw up an objection to when Mr Taylor said democrats are lame. When have the democrats said things that are kinder about President Bush???
Yes, we DO have to worry about a man whose family has been aligned with the Islam faith. have you not heard about the man that was Barack Obama's 'spiritual advisor'? Have you not heard that mans rhetoric about the evil of the white man? how the American government created AIDS to 'diminish the population of african americans'???? Seriously folks, you guys are NUTS if you think Obama deserves a shot at becoming president of our country.
Mike, you can quote people all you want, but I encourage you to debate simple FACTS with me, and one way or another, I will show you how media is biased. I'm not sayin fox isn't, but not nearly as much as MSNBC.
NOT A SINGLE ON AIR PERSONALITY...INCLUDING BILL O'REILLY, HAS PUBLICLY ENDORSED A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE ON THEIR SHOW (or otherwise). Ask me if NBC or any of the other LIBERAL media outlets can say the same.
By the way, hate me if you all want to, but I stand by my CEO of this GREAT country, no matter what terrible circumstances have made his popular opinion rating so low. Let's see any one of you do any better with the tough choices he has had to make.
By the way, has there been a domestic terrorist attack since 9-11????

I'll answer...NO...there hasen't been...war isn't pretty...but rainbow flag and demonstrate and protest all you want...it is sometimes necessary. What disturbes me is the lack of resolve that alot of americans seem to have??? (or maybe it just shown that way by liberal media)People forget so quickly...

Exactly. While the man may have spent money like a drunken sailor, his actions have kept us safe and I believe history will shed a different light on the man.

To just how corrupt he really is ;)
Remember, the main goal behind the attacks on 9/11 were to cripple our economy, not just the death of a handful of Americans but the downfall of America.
Man, I just need to stay out of these threads. But the funny thing about me is my political party choice does not influence who I am friends with unless you are extreme one way or the other, I can see good in both the Republican and the Democratic parties.

Or how almost all of the personal attacks from radical leftists, and many in Congress, were truly brain dead and dishonest.

I still can't get over the fact that almost half this country is considering voting for a man that will not wear an american flag or sallute our flag for president! It saddens me to think of all of the freedoms that our soldiers have fought for, and Obama won't even show his respect. What happened to the patriotism this country had after 911, I would like to see it again. He is something to look at before you vote.

R-Taylor, apology accepted. This all began with the biased media statement. I asked if FOX news was included in that bias, and was then asked to show proof, which I did. That is all I wanted to do. I never meant to get in a political debate about it. I just suggested that FOX news be joined in with the bias media statement. That was all.
The news corporations no matter who owns them should do only one thing. Report the news. NOT favor any side, no matter what.
And when I do vote, I do not vote for a person, I vote for the party. And theirs still a few months to go. (Thank gawd)

This would be true only somewhere like here in the UK where the BBC is funded by public (not government) monies. The american system of broadcasting is first, last and always, a business. Never, ever forget that. THey are owned by people who have opinions (read;"biased"), who have the power and feel morally obligated to use it.
It cracks me up when I hear people complain about "liberal" media. The measure of how free a society is, is measured by how free the media is. You WANT your media to be liberal. Why on earth is that, you ask?
A liberal media (again, read as "biased") is a counter point to other very influential cornerstones of society. Business is, by nature, generally conservative. They want to keep government out of thier pockets. The military is an edifice to conservative values and for very good reasons. Big government is very conservative; congress is not going to vote itself out of office and hand the keys over to May Day anarchists, etc. The other liberal counterbalance is, of course, higher education. The ivory towers are supposed to be the counterweight to the Pentagon. THats why you have tenure for professors.
Unlike the X Files, the truth isn't "out there somewhere", its "somewhere in the middle." Everytime I hear a commentator say something I don't like, I smile. I know he is not going to get sacked in middle of the night and carted off by jack booted government thugs, never to be seen again. It means the system is working!
Just my t'uppence worth from an over educated, retired from 20+ years military grunt, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, expat who still plays with cars...;)

Sad state of affairs, when a NEWS company can be so blatantly biased and the people who watch and read their so called 'news' don't know any better.oh c'mon donny. msnbc is to the left what fox news has been to the right for years. fox news, and ALL the rest of them, for that matter, have their agendas. that's why it's impossible to get real news without going on the net for unbiased news reports. as far as the "vast" majority of the press being liberal goes, they're prolly in step with the "vast" majority of the population who were fed up with idiot boy bush and were/are looking for a change and ended up with just another puppet masquerading as the "leader" of the so-called free world. people did'nt necessarily vote for the current shill, they voted against anything that reminded them of the last eight years. there should be a revision in the description of the term "news" as it has become here. it's more a our bulls--ter against your bulls--ter with no winners at all.

The whole concept of an unbiased press is a relatively recent development brought about by the advent of broadcasting, the federal regulation thereof, and the desire to offend as few audience members as possible.
Check out some old newspapers, large or small, and I believe you'll find every one had an agenda. TV's number 1 agenda is to sell time at the highest price.
BTW, airline advertisers usually have a clause in their contracts to have their spots pulled from an "adjacency" to any news coverage of airplane crashes.
Randy S, please explain what makes you think the net offers unbiased news reports and give us some examples. Thanks!
