We finally got her out and running around. We headed out to Barstow on Friday to do some shakedown runs. Everything went amazing. I could not be happier with the job that was done on the blazer. I had some small issues which I will fix and get it back out asap to put even more miles on it. Huge thank you to Ryan Arciero, for loaning me a trailer, Sean for bringing out Ollie Penchanskys bronco and chasing me around all day and helping check everything over in between stops. What an amazing experience it was to build this thing from the ground up, work with great companies and get a final product that is more then I could have ever expected. I did not take any video or pics really. We are gonna get it back out and Klaus and Curtis will do some filming for me to post. Thank you to everyone who has followed this build.

bitchin! good job John. Now lets go film.
How noisy is it inside? Do you need an intercom in the dirt like mine?

March 17th, 2008, 18:13
We had the intercomm headsets on the whole time and it was wonderful, the bypass clicking and motor noise were not issues at all. Dont want to think what it would have been like all day without them though. We even hooked up the ipod for some tunes.

Nice job JB.
It's good to see that you finished a project that at times probably seemed like it would never be finished.
Most people would've quit and started something else a long time ago. I'm sure that first ride felt awesome.

It's WAY more fun to cruise around INSIDE the Blazer than it is standing in the hot desert sun taking video of it. She's a whoop eatin' machine fo' sho!

For sale all ready? Seems like a good price too.
whoever buys that thing is getting a great deal.
If we were trying to sell stuff right now, i would be all over it for that price or even if it cost more.

I did not read the feature yet but it looked good. Just a tip John but use it being in Off Road to push it harder this month, our company has sold 3 trucks on Ebay for GOOD money the same month they were featured in various magazines, it will bring a LOT of attention to the truck.

You live in the same city as Jordan, you should call him and have him bring you a copy. I would be anxious as all hell if I didnt get my copy before hand.

Now now, I gave Off Road all of the proper information for the build. I apologize that they left people out and messed up others. I think everyone on this site knows you built the dash Marty. You will also notice 4 lights instead of 6, and Cory at Rod Benders paint in San Juan became Ron Genders overnight. I guess it happens.
MME did the dash not Blitzkreig.
