Hillco Fasteners in Garden Grove, I'm sure they could order up 2 if they don't have them in stock; normally will have them in a day or so.

Here's a few places that I use:
Hillco Fastener in Garden Grove
McFadden-Dale Hardware, various locations in So Cal
Rainbow Bolt in Riverside, the cheapest place to buy F911 bolts

If you're feeling lucky you can try a surplus place, there's one in Nat'l City, don't know where you are. Plus they sell by the pound so it'll be considerably cheaper.

I get all of my grade 8 (190,000 psi) bolts from Johnson Machinery (a CAT dealer) . They have killer prices and some long ass bolts . I have found every bolt that I need to build my car from them. Ask your local CAT dealer for a Safe Source book. It will list all of the different sizes and they carry 12 points. I found out about it just because I work there.

Here are some CAT part #'s for some bolts and nuts . In a 9/16" bolt they only make a 6" and an 8" bolt. And they do say CAT on the head of each bolt.

9/16" x 6" 18tpi = 8S4752
4.63 grip length

9/16" x 6" 12tpi = 8S4742
4.63" of grip length

9/16" x 8" 12tpi = 9H9129
6.38" of grip length

grade eight 9/16" x 12tpi nut = 5P0539

grade eight 9/16" washer = 5P8246

grade eight 9/16" x 18tpi nut = 5P0540

This is where I get all of my fasteners for critical locations. You can get the shoulder length in 1/16 incriments.
http://www.coastfab.com/ (http://http://www.coastfab.com/)

Ask for a catalog they have everything you could use for your application.

I had this same problem a few months back.

My solution was to order 14mm metric bolts that were long enough for my application. I could not find the 9/16" bolts anywhere, and I looked at a lot of places. Metric seems to be a bit longer, all the way to about 9" long.

The 14mm bolts are almost the exact same outside diameter, and if you get a 10.9 grade metric bolt, it is the same 150,000 tensile strength as a grade 8 bolt.

Try Metric and Multisandard. They are the place to find hard to find metric stuff, but they dont like to sell small quantities.
