HEGO Sensor???

Can anybody tell me what a HEGO sensor is??? It is on my Ford F-150 and I believe it is Ford specific, but I cannot find anyone that can tell me what it is, where it is, or what it does.

a hego sensor is a Heated Exaust Gas Oxygen Sensor . it is basicly just a o2 sensor. if you have a problem with one or need info to diag it p.m. me ill get you the info . im a tech at a ford dealer so i have the manuals for your truck
