Western Desert Championship Ancillary Events to be held at
Terrible’s Town Casino and Bowl in Henderson, November 15th- 16th
Henderson, NV-- Terrible’s Town Casino and Bowl, Henderson Convention and Visitors Bureau and Southern Nevada Off-Road Enthusiasts (SNORE) have come together to bring the Western Desert Championship to Henderson, Friday, November 15th and Saturday, November 16th. Pre-race activities on November 15th will include a manufacturer’s midway, a display of extreme off-road vehicles, driver meet and greet and a $1,000 Pit Crew Competition.
Approximately 80 off-road vehicles will compete in a 250-mile, open desert competition, which consists of five 50-mile laps in eight hours or less. Prior to race day a number of activities are scheduled at Terrible’s Town Casino and Bowl to boost excitement for the event.

5:00-8:00 p.m. Contingency / Technical Inspection/ Driver Meet and Greet
7:30-8:30 p.m. $1,000 Pit Crew Competition
Saturday, November 16
9:00 a.m. Race Start
7:00 p.m. Awards and After Race Party – Terrible’s Town Casino and Bowl
The race, pre-race festivities and events are FREE of charge and open to the public. Spectators are encouraged to get an up close view of the vehicles and meet with the drivers. “We are really looking forward to being part of this exciting event,” said off-racing enthusiast Ed Herbst. “The events that are being held at Terrible’s Town Casino are a great opportunity to meet with the racers and to be a part of a behind the scenes look at the tech inspection.”
