I need to replace my ball joints in my 93 ranger. This is my first time doing it. From what I've heard its a **BAN ME****BAN ME****BAN ME****BAN ME****BAN ME**. Wondering if you guys had any tips. Also what kind of ball joints would be the best to get.

it is not that bad. I would get moog that is what we use on our race truck. Remeber to put the bottom in first makes it way easy. And use casstle nuts on everthing Crip locks suck. The long ball joint ges on the botton the snap ring goes on the top. that is if you have the I beam ball joints if you have the spindle mounted then you are on your own. If the are spindle mounted you can take then off and take them to a auto shop and the will do them for you I don't think they cost that much. Have fun......

Snap On has a C clamp press tool. It works great. I'm sure other places have this tool, I got it for $70
