So, I finally got my truck done and I am pretty excited at how it turned out-

I want to thank the guys at Camburg- Jerry, Steve, and Drew were all top-notch to deal with and really provide an awesome product backed up by awesome customer service- Take a serious look at their products if you’re in the market.

I went with RG Wheels and 295/70R17 Toyo MTs and the Camburg Coilover leveling Kit, Upper Control Arms & RaceRunner rear piggyback shocks. There are some pics from before, during and after the build, so enjoy and let me know what you think.

Good view of the wheels/tires: I had to trim a little bit, but not too bad- I think it was the offset of the wheels combined with the aggressive lug and they’re actually 33.4inches…

look'n good! Camburg makes a good product, and the Racerunners will please you! You should notice a huge difference as you push it more in the dirt.

Wow! Looks nice! Where is the front bumper mounted to on the truck...The frame? Did you have glass works do your front fenders also? What kind of sponsorship is ProComp giving you? haha The roof rack and now three more on the bumper! :D :D

Bumper and fenders look awesome- really blended well and clean looking.

I have been thinking about glass up front, but don't think the leveling kit justifies full 6" fenders- Anyone know of fenders on a smaller scale for the f150?

AzBajaman
October 25th, 2007, 19:51
Jared i think your truck with the camburg lift will look great with the glass fenders, i wish i didn't have a 6 inch lift in the front, i have coil over and i lowered the front end a bit to lower the truck in the front....talk to you later

The truck looks great, perfect size in my opinion. I don't think OSHA likes employees working on trucks to be barefoot.

Definitely! The plan is to order the fenders in the next couple weeks- Still don't know when the lights/bumper will be in the budget or if I am going with the ProComp Bumper or calling whoever did yours...

How about the LT kit ? :D

Fenders look good man !

JRod
January 7th, 2008, 22:58
I would love the LT kit, so JERRY! If you read this, you can have my truck for a few months to develop an LT kit for the 4x4! As long as I can keep it when you're done. :D

Seriously though, took the truck on the Parker 425 pre-run and was amazed at how well it did- Soaked up some large holes, bumps and woops that on approach looked like they would hurt, but didn't. Think we hit the bump stops only twice- And the rear piggybacks worked awesome too!

Here is a pic at the CAP checkpoint-

How are the lower ball joints holding up with the bolt in coilover on the f150's.I would think the joint would be maxed out most of the time.I would love to hear from people with first hand experience.
