For this year (2007) WRC is not televised in the USA. Eurosport (http://yahoo.eurosport.co.uk/tvschedule_clng2.shtml) is a premier network all over Europe kind of what ESPN is for the US market. They show extensive WRC (http://yahoo.eurosport.co.uk/tvschedule_clng2.shtml) this year and offer watching TV online for a fee of 4.90€/month or 39.90€/year (1€ = $1.40). Well worth it in my opinion if you want same day WRC, Formula 1, DTM and Dakar when it happens.
However the live stream is restricted to certain European markets. The trick is to find a qualifying country European VPN that brings your internet connection into such a qualifying market. Once you do that you can subscribe as you come in as a European internet connection. In other words Eurosports things you are in France, Germany or Switzerland etc. This runs you from free to 5-20$ per month or much more for a corporate VPN. I use one in Switzerland and it is less then $10.00/month.
I have been using a similar approach as described above to get my Eurosport and today enjoy watching WRC Corsica all day on the side while trying to get some work done. Good times.
