1600 Disc Brakes ?

Does anybody know what is going on regarding the disc brake question? I know that SCORE has been mulling over allowing disc brakes on 1600s. I also heard that there was a meeting at the Primm 300 to discuss this same subject. Can anyone share their notes from this meeting ?
