Crash Bandicoot Help

Hey guys, my son Jake is a big fan of the Crash Bandicoot games. Recently we got the Wrath of Cortex for PS2. We are stuck (I mean he is stuck), unable to beat the boss of the second warp room. Any of you guys play this game?

Come on guys, there has to be someone out there that is champion of the Crash Bandicoot world. We cannot figure out how to get past the boss of the 2nd warp room in the Wrath of Cortex game. I just got my ***** kicked again with 47 lives! Help!

Update: My son tried it again with 41 lives and got whipped. I tried to get past the boss with 56 lives and got stomped again. Grrrrrr!

I have now made it my mission in life to get past this point in the game. If I have to take a week of vacation from work and play the friggin game 24 hours a day I WILL!!!!!!!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone here own a gameshark for PS2? What can you tell me about it? How does it work?
