SCOTT TAYLOR LOOKS TO BUILD ON RECENT BARK RIVER SUCCESS
July 31, 2002 – Belvidere, IL
Finally after several years of racing at the natural terrain track in Bark River Michigan, Scott got his first CORR Pro-2 victory in Round 10.
The last three rounds of racing back in early July saw Scott and his CORR Pro-2 Mobil 1, BF Goodrich Ford F-150 battle back from a 10th place finish in Round 8, a 2nd place in Round 9, and eventually the win in Round 10.
The mid-summer break the race schedule not only allowed crew chief Jeff Frana thoroughly inspect the truck, but it gave Scott and his crew some time off to spend time with family and friends.
“This break in the season gave the team sometime to relax and rejuvenate their batteries so to speak. This will get everyone focused on the stretch run for the championship.” – Scott Taylor.
After 10 rounds of racing Scott Taylor is back in 1st place for the season, with only 4 rounds to go.
