I'm in metal rop here at ceres high in central cali. were making petal carts out of whatever we can find. me and my friend kevin (fat boy rhino) are cutting a complete chassis out of 1/8" steel and than going to do some 1x1 tubing for cage style but nothing over head. i've been looking for something easy for tires. started out with a offer of 4 honda tires for 40 bucks, than found some free tires but had these beastly cage type things around em. tryed cutting em free, but no luck. 30 mins on one tire and just gave up. so now i got to looking and found these at HF http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=30900 they look pretty good and will hopefully hold up over 600 lbs. i'm 315, and kevins 270~.
were gonna have bearings in the front and remove the hubs from two of the tires for the rear to get everyhing donskis. 2 sets of bike petals pushing one bar with a chain to the rear. well, i'll try to get some progress pix tom guys. thanks for lookin.
