It links two sides of a suspension together typically, to get them to work in unison. In an IFS situation the front arms will be tabbed for link mounts, and the links will be connected to each via a bar of some sorts. That way when you take a hard right lets say and the car tries to roll to the outside, compressing the left suspension, the link will keep the two arms working together, minus a little deflection. So that means when you turn right, and the left side compresses, the right side is also forced to compress, keeping the car fairly level, at least in theory. The advantage to this is the ability to run a softer spring but still have a nice tight feeling car.
I think, someone chip in if I missed something.

If I may say something unrelated to this specific vehicle but with regards to this business... I called Mosebuilt and asked if I might have them flare a few 2.5 holes for me. It was obvious that the gentleman I spoke with was extremely busy at the time but, after explaining politely that they don't normally do this sort of stuff, he agreed to have me come by and he'd see what he could do. I showed up asap and the owner (I am assuming this because he was not in shop clothes) stopped what he was doing, again he was obviously busy, greeted me at the roll-up door and had me follow him and an employee to there press. He then asked what size flare I'd like and when I didn't answer confidently he instructed his employee to try the smaller one first and if I didn't like the result he would repress the larger one in it's place. The "owner" then excused himself and the employee proceeded to dimple all ten parts to the larger flare. I think the owner would have allowed me to leave without paying him anything if I hadn't offered and when I did he charged me well under what his cost must have been to have this employee spent the time he did with me.
If my treatment is any indication of the way this company treats there costumers I highly recommend giving Mosebuilt a call.
Thanks again for your generosity, sincerely Todd Durdella
Oh, and by the way their shop is large, clean, and with at least a dozen (maybe two dozen) cars in different stages of build has a huge drool factor.
