Rear lights

So I am getting my tuck ready for mdr and more. 1450 class. Is this correct? You need two running red lights hooked up to the ignition. 1 amber light hooked to the ignition. And 2 rear brake lights? I somehow have a short or something when the stock running lights are on, and I hit the brakes, the lights go out. So I was gonna run the stock brake lights (with running lgiht fuse pulled out), and 1 amber, and 2 circle red lights wired to the amber light to the ignition. Does this sound legal?

check all your bulbs, its not uncommon for your tail lights to go out when you hit the brakes if you got a bad bulb (at least thats the case on my Toyota).
