Has it officially been said that you need to have a new fire resistant helmet for next years race season? or is that a rule that is in place now? I think i will be doing my first race in April at the KING OF THE DESERT 250 in the MDR Superstition Series.

just get one with it so you dont have to buy a new one when it does change. The HJC is really nice.

MDr told us the last race this is the last season they will allow M rated helmets race, from next year on you need SA rated helmets, perferrably a SA2005. Anyone know the cheapest SA helmet out there. Need one for the co-driver's and they don't want to spend the cash for something they'll be in for 1 lap or so at a time. Thanks.

Try them on first, with the mic installed. The HJC fit me terrible, the mic dug into my chin. Not all heads are shaped the same. My egghead fits a Bell M2 nicely.
