So what will get a person banned here... this is the worst post i have seen on RDC, pure strait up slandering libel.

Seems a TT driver can do or say anything, lible and slander is Ok if your TT driver.

Should i take RDC and or Matt Scaroni to court.

I was called a pedofile by Matt Scaroni ( MSS screen name )

Nobody ever gets banned from RDC, I don't think anyone has ever been banned... We are all big boys and can take as well as give.

Plus, Matt is almost as cool as Pete...

I'm sure RDC council (Jr) could give a free review of your court case to determine your massive loss due to his statement and midigate your damages. At this point it must be in the millions.

He did say "probably" if he said you "do" then you would have a case.

No hold on you still couldnt get him for slander cos it was a private message you could possible get him for abuse.

The good news is he dosent know you but you know him. Just pop him one next time you see him at a race. Thats what i would do.

P.S. what started all this? Most people dont just fly off the handle for no reason you must have said somthing.

I dont care who he is, he went to far saying that stuff, he had no right to say false things like that.

He started flaming people in that thread, i said something pretty tame and he flamed me with a PM, you expect me to bend over !!! He comes from a Christian family, but he said that chit because i didnt kiss his *****$, yeah thats a real Christian.

I don't start chit here, i have a strong opinion yes but its just debating, the problem is when some people lose it because someone doesn't kiss rear.

Im not even close to the western US states right now, working 12 hr shifts but thanks for the invite, not sure how sincere you are though, really i doubt it totally.

It never ceases to amaze me how there are certain individuals that people consistantly have problems with. I think why these individuals consistantly feel targeted is that they never come to races or other desert racing activities but still act as though they are desert racing experts. The people who these "mystery posters" have problems with are people everyone knows and can be found at any race. That might be why they don't get the same negative rep as those "mystery posters." Everyone else knows that they are good people. Unfortunately, no one knows what these "mystery posters" are really like.

And your free legal tip of the day....slander is spoken, libel is written. Matt didn't "slander" you, he might have committed libel.

And free tip of the day for Chuck...you'll never win in an argument with PJC, trust me, I've tried! Lord knows I've tried!

There are a lot of people that don't get banned for things that other people would. I was banned a few months ago for making a "threat" to guy. I used the same "threat" he used and I got banned. If I was banned, the moron I confronted should have been to.

People stick up for friends and that's all fine. Sometimes they just need to let the ones involved take care of their beef.

I admit we are not perfect at moderation but give it a our best shot. Perhaps from here forward we'll get better at it and ban everyone involved in any online chicken fight. Lots of times people report posts and that helps us to see it their way and to understand the offense.

Klaus you guys do an awesome job. I have been on quite a few race sites. When I got back to racing in 03 I was completely out of the loop and found lots of places to catch up on the racing world again. I found RDC and signed on because you guys are miles ahead of the others. The site is REALLY usefull. Everyone gets along (mostly) and the conversations are both positive and informative. I didn't bother to sign in anywhere else and didn't need to.

I for one appreciate what you guys have done and can't imagine the work that goes into Keeping RDC as good as it is!
