We are headed out to our friends place in havasu this weeked! YAHOO! Where is everyone else going for the long weekend???

I'll be in Havasu next weekend! The weather looks to be great. Holiday weekends at the riv are getting crazier and crazier. I don't want to risk my family's well-being upon anyone else's stupidy. Be careful and bring lots of beads ;-)

I'll be running up and down the upper part of the coast with some friends surfing, hanging out, getting sunburned, drinking/ recovering from hangovers, and all of the usual carrying on and mayhem that comes with Mex.

Anyone else heading down? Or an early trip to the 500?

We'll be staying off KM 73 in La Salina/ Puerto Salina.

Sand bar is a bunch of guys on house boats being cocks..whoops I mean cops. Sand bar is closed on all big holidays. The channel is where its at. put the boat in the water sit at the channel all day and get tanked, get sun, go to the club, go to the room and pass out...I prefer my $5 lawn chair over all my buddies 100k boats anyday. My chair doesnt have a mortgage:) The best kind of boat is the kind you dont own!

We will be out at El Mirage on monday w/ about 1/2 dozen dirtbikes. We will try to be by the firepit on the dry lake which if you follow the powerlines, they lead right to it. Stop by if you're out there.

I will be partaking in the other offrpad sport...whitewater rafting and kayaking on the upper Kern River. If anyone will be in the area, let me know, we will probably have some seats available as we will be running the river from Thursday till Monday. YOu can even try your hand in a kayak or rubber duckie(inflatable kayak, 2 person)

I have a fun trip planned, my wife and I are off to Charlotte tomorrow to do the double with Robby Gordon.Yes he has chartered a plane that will allow us to see the Indy 500 and then fly to Charlotte to see the Coca-Coca 600 all on Sunday.It should be a blast if the weather works out.Hopefully his racing luck will change this weekend.

Dude, I have an 18-foot "Sun Ray" 16 y/o white trash special with a 351 in it!!!! It holds beer, the girls, and can still pull wakeboarders.

If anyone is out there next weekend, we are staying at the Nautical Inn for a Bachelor/Bachelorette (whatever) party. We have 15 rooms and many more staying other places. Its always a great time out their and in the canal.

FYI

Getting a fire ring at Huntington or Bolsa Chica beach on this weekend will require that you get there at sunrise. And leaving your stuff around the fire ring while you go off surfing will do nothing to reserve the spot.

Went down to San Diego last night and it was ****...I mean cop heaven. Got a ticket before even getting to the bar. Asked the cop if it was father son day cuz he had a rook with him that looked no more then 16 years old. I saw at least 35 cars in a 6 mile drive....be safe or at least dont get caught.

Since some degenerate, inner city, gang bangers screwed things up in the ealy 1990's there is an alcohol ban on the beaches at HB and Bolsa Chica.

Also, I just heard that after this weekend, all firepits will be removed from the beach at HB. 'Not sure about Bolsa Chica.

They WERE going to remove all firepits two weeks ago from HB, Bolsa Chica, and San Onofre. In face, they had completely removed the ones at Sano. However, the dumb $hit who made this idiotic decision failed to get it approved by some state board. The next day, Sano had their fire rings back. The Register ran an article about the pits removal and people here in SC went crazy. They called the lifegaurd stations, the newspapers, the state, etc. The next day, the Register ran a completely differnt article stating that the person repsonsible didn't go throught the proper channels (process) to approve such a decision. This person was quoted for saying that the upkeep of the firepits takes 40% of their annual budget and that was his reason for the removal. That is rediculous. The majority of the beach goers interview were completely opposed to the removal. However, one numb nuts said that when he leaves his house on the weekends (in HB) in the evening, it is hard for him to breath because of all the smoke from the pits. I say, "WHY THE HELL DID YOU MOVE THEIR IN THE FIRST PLACE?" Those pits have been their since the 50's. Just like poeple who move close to airports and then complain of noise...plain stupid. I am just glad to see that they stayed put!
