haha, well during the last 1-2 weeks lots of new members signed up from far away places because of our Dakar discussions. We have real racers and/or their media-teams post here making the site attractive to get a direct interaction going between racefan and the people you see in the race-results.

The same holds true for Desert racing. Think about it...we have Baja1000 overall winners blend into the forum and participate like they are just some regular user and answer any question politely if needed. Why would you not wanna sign up as a member? Its free and gives slight forum navigation and feature benefits.
