I was reading up on the Dakar, and the tragic accident where Henri Magne was killed was mentioned. All I could find was that the vehicle lost control and hit a concrete wall.
I dont really want gory details, I was just curious what type of injuries were sustained, and is there anything we can learn from it. The driver was ok, with no serious injuries.
I was just curious if mabye the cage buckled in, or mabye neck injuries that mabye could have been prevented, or mabye seat or belt issues. I know there was another accident with a WRC car that I heard was neck injuries causing a fatality.
