Display reputation comments on members profile page.
When a members profile is shown, this adds a display (at the bottom) of reputation comments that the member has received.

Klaus, my understanding is "Rep Power: 5" means that I can add or subtract 5 reputation points to/from someone else’s reputation, and that "Rep Power : 5" is based on the time I have been registered on RDC and the number of posts I have made - it has nothing to do with Reputation Points that someone else gave me. I also know that I can see how many Reputation Points I have and who gave them to me by going to my User CP. The question is, how do I know how many Reputation Points someone else has? Everyone's Reputation Points used to be represented by the number of Green Rectangles next to their “Rep Power” but now everyone has only one Green Rectangle, what happened to the other Green Rectangles?

With the new feature, you can see everyone's reputation points when you view their public profile now. Its in the upper right hand corner of the new "reputation section" at the bottom of the profile page. I.E. I can see you currently have 80 points.

I think alot of people will think twice before adding comments knowing that anyone can read there comments. I know I've seen a couple on people's profiles that they probably don't want others to read. Can we maybe rethink everyone having access to the comments? Just a thought
FYI - No matter what you guys come up with this is still my favorite site period!!

People shouldn't be posting stuff they wouldn't want others to see, the ***** talkers shouldn't be able to think they are anonymous. Unless I am misunderstanding what you are referring to. I like the new feature.

Here's what I was getting at. Let's say Fly and Chase2 are having an arguement (I know it never happens but let's just pretend). You agree with what Fly has to say and think Chase2 is full of crap (or vice-versa you choose). You give one of them an approval you say "I agree with what you said and the other guy is full of it" Do you want every soul on RDC to be able to read what you wrote? In this instance I would not. By the way "A Disagree" was not sent to the other guy. I think the comments themselves should be kept private like a PM.
I do think that everyone should know who left them reputation even if they did not leave a comment

I know saying this will get me a few more, but do you think that the people who gave me mine would have done so if they weren't anonymous, do you think that is how the system was meant to work?

I think the comment should be mandatory. points without comments lose some value in my opinion. It also makes for good reading in some cases and links you to threads you otherwise might never read. It was interesting to read who left me negative rep. and for which thread. I wish he had left a reason.
BTW, this is the only forum I frequent that uses this system and I wish it was more common.

Hehe, now thats funny! I got a neg mark for something that had nothing to do with the thread I got dinged for.

I never really paid attention to reputation points, untill I saw I have a 2 next to my little green box. does that mean two people have made comments about me? Did I get points without comments or something? Do I need to beat two people up or give some love?

the number (in your case two) means you have the rep power of 2. Any negative or positive rep you give others will change by 2 points.
Rep power gets calculated based on post count, seniority, and reps received.

if they left any comments as to why they gave you a +/- reputation mark, you can view it by looking at your user control panel.

Why are some green, some red and some blue?
Green are obviously Good
Red are Bad
what are blue, people with no rep trying to add to mine?

Blue is someone that doesn't have enough rep to pass it around. They are n00bs.

I assume that when that person that gave you rep that turned out blue means that when they are "senior enough?" the blue dot will turn red or green depending on what they gave you. Am I correct on this?

Your reputation power (2) increases by 1 for the following,
1. Post count - 50, 100, 500, 1,000
2. Every 100 point increase in your reputation points (positive comments)
3. Your anniversary date of when you joined RDC, for you Feb. 07
