To run a roof mounted light bar, I need a cage huh??? I dont want to cage my truck, as I really dont want to lose the head liner, and to have a good one put in and retain almost all the stock interior its liek 3600 bucks... i could use a 4 link before that... anyways, I just want to have either 4 lights ont he bumper or 4 lights up on a roof bar, and 2 hid's on the front bumper, but iam not sure, sorta want the options of what you can do.
thanks

I my opinon, if you are going fast enough to need that kind of lighting you should really put a cage inside the cab. I dont know if you have used HID's before or not, but 2 would give you a lot of light and you could mount those on the front bumper and with the money you were going to spend on the other 4 lights and light bar you would have half the cost of your cage. Without a cage if you were to roll or endo the truck you could seriously hurt or kill someone not to mention the truck is probably junk. With a cage you stand a better chance of walking away and the cab might be dented up but not crushed in. Just a thought!

Put a couple lights out front and cage it then belly up to the "BAR" ...it will be money well spent ....

Put in the Cage! your life is more important then your stupid headliner, and if you are worried about looks build an aftermarket liner that goes around your cage so you cant see it, safety should be the most important thing on your truck, not looks.

SimonSays, you should post that picture in full size. My wife is expecting our first child and is already talking about more. That picture might slow her down a little. That is one of the best avitars on RDC.
