According to an event program for the Seattle, Wa. "Kingdome" race, the following statements are true and pertain to the PPI/ Toyota trucks
3.0L SOHC V6
2 valves per cylinder
275hp.
150 race miles a season
40 oil filters a year
490 quarts of oil a year
70 tires and wheels are carried to each race for each truck
12,000 man-hours in building each truck (doesn't include research & design)
Thought you guys would like that info...

That's odd... none of the Toyotas I've ever owned burned any oil. :D
Just kidding of course. Man I miss the MTEG series. Those were the days.

I had the whole left side of Ivan's truck for a while, front fender, door, rear fender and number plate. The fiberglass faded from the sun and rain, but I still have his #1 number plate hanging up in my garage with the "Ironman" 's autograph.

God I loved that game, I wonder how much one of those would cost nowadays? I wouldn't mind having one at my house.

Anywhere from $400 to $1500 depends on condition. I'm looking for a deal on one at the moment. I think Camburg has one, not sure if it works...

They sell them on ebay all the time. I have seen them go for as cheap as $300.

We have one of the Ivan games in our gameroom at home. It will probably end up in the showroom at Lightning Industries in Lake Elsinore because it gets ignored at home.
Also, PACE motorpsorts made an attempt at brining back stadium racing from 1998 - 2000. We raced all over the country in the big domes. Houston Astrodome, Minneapolis Metrodome, Michigan Silverdome, Seattle Kingdome, Anaheim Stadium, Las Vegas Sam Boyd's, the list goes on and on. Anyway, we got crowds in excess of 50,000 and fans were coming back the next year remembering the drivers. It was great fun (alot of work, 12 races in a little over 3 months) but PACE did not want to continue it. There was an average of 16 trucks per race. The regulars in the stadium trucks were Lee O'Donnell, Randy Eller, Raul Flores, Stacey Pike, Don Ponder, Bob Beyer, Larry Bayer, Johhny Greaves, Jeff Kincaid, Chris Brandt, Pete Sohren, Jerry Whelchel. I wish someone would bring that back.

I remember that last year PACE went to fullsize trucks. We ran in the Pacific Northwest events...man, those tracks were way to tight for fullsize iron!
