So...here's my project. Blue '80 Crewcab Dually 4x4. 454 TH400 NP205 D60/D70

Hoping for an end result something like the gray (brother's) truck and the red and black truck. I'm thinking about leaving the dually with front axle on it but running single tires and wheels (that's how it is in the pic), making it wider. I'm looking for good ideas for flaring the front fenders and "tubbing" the liners, along with cutting them like my brother's truck. I have a shop and i'm doing this cheap, don't want fiberglass. Thanks for input - David

More info on my project here. Good Chevy site, though not much gofast stuff. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180953

On the bed you can cut a step side bed in half down the middle length wise from front to back and add metal to it so a non step side tailgate will fit. Then modify the front step and edge to match the cab or widen the rear of the bed to match the tail gate and leave the front just a little narrower than the cab and you have widened the rear.

Thanks...I was also thinking about narrowing the dually bed a bit for a similar effect. I'll probably end up leaving the rear alone since the stock fenders have pretty good clearance. Any ideas for the front?
