Hey Klaus, did you think RDC would take off like it has?

This is truly the top desert racing site and thank you for all your hard work.

In 1999 my longtime friend Paul and Jeff (Hogg) shared a ride to the SCORE Laughlin race. It's a long drive and we bs'd about all kinds of stuff, somehow the idea came up to start a website and share all the wonderful pictures and videos we shot that weekend with the world. Plus having a website would be the cool thing to have. So rdc was born...back then we transferred a couple (less then 100) MB per month, now its more then one Terabyte (from 100MB to 1.000.000MB+). Back then it was 30 mins of work per week now its 3 hours per day including weekends.

google.com the leading search-engine of the web lists us 123.000 times (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=site%3Arace-dezert.com&btnG=Search)

Never thought in my wildest dreams this all would have happened. We never did things for growth, never looked at it like a business or moneymaker. Lately we take it a bit more serious, but we have to otherwise it would be impossible to continue.

i've had RDC set as my home page ever since it was red letters on a black screen and everyone just talked crap...years of entertainment.

klaus even had a couple of coronas at my house once, a few yrs ago. (i had a celebrity in my backyard!!!) tyson brought him to a bbq at my old place, when i was in the midst of building my truck.

thanks klaus (and crew), for all the hard work over the years.

Not only do I love RDC because of all the info that can be learned but I can also minimize the screen when I'm looking at porn and my girlfriend comes home so it just looks like I'm on Race Dezert. Thanks RDC crew!!
