I chose Ronnie at Source Prep Fab(SPF) to plumb the blazer and I cant be happier with his work. Its turning out way better then I imagined. He had the whole thing laid out before he even purchased the first fitting(so much money for fittings DAMN). I am going to take some pics on Tuesday night when I am back down there. I am working on one small issue. The TT power steering pump I bought is too big for my application so mounting it is giving us problems plus I found out I dont need such a big pump for the small throw on the ram I am running. I will let you know what I figure out this week, I think I will be downgrading to the smaller pump.

Also the Exhaust is 50% done(driver side), Adam Diaz from this board is doing it for me as a favor/sidejob. All stainless with magnaflow mufflers. I will post pics of that also.

Exhaust is now done. Plumbing is 80% complete. All that is left is hard lines on the lower arms the soft line from the hard line and mount the power steering pump and hook that up.

Bought a new power steering pump today with brackets so that problem will be solved. The hard lines came out amazing. I will take pics on Tuesday when I go back down to the shop. AC will be installed after testing, I want to get this thing running.

What radiator are you running? How many rows? Looks pretty deep.

Hard lines are not for everywhere, but money, space, and time can be saved by using them in other places besides brakes. They can look blingy too. Race vehicles have been slowly going in this direction.

We only used hard line on the brakes. Here are a couple of more pics. That blazer is back here at my shop now. Just need a dash and wiring.. Getting so close.

Do you mind if I asked about the front A-Arm Set Up ?

Who made it ?
What is the lenght of the upper arm ?
What is the lenght of the upper arm ?
How much travel are you expecting from the front suspension ?

Most of the road race stuff I've worked on had tubing everywhere flex wasn't needed. In a crunch once we temporaily plumbed one IMSA car's brakes all in SS hose. Did the whole job in about an hour & a half. The driver commented that he couldn't tell the difference in pedal feel. So it stayed that way for the whole championship winning season.

I prefer tubing to all flex, but I reserve all flex as an option.

Hey John I can take a display like this. http://www.phanderson.com/lcd106/lcd117_3.jpg then write a program for a basic stamp that would read the output of the gps and get the speed and then output it to the display. They only thing would be that the gps would have to be on and locked on.

Actually I already have the program written. I have it working on the bench. It also drive a video overlay board for the in car camera.

Its a Lowrance 6500 that I was under the impression it can be used as a speedo also. I might be wrong. I bought it from PCI along time ago try them, RacerX, Kartek, Camburg (any of our advertisors)they all sell GPS.

Any boat shop should have a GPS speeed-o. Don't know if it will match your current gages but they should have that model. Rex Marine carries pretty much everything...try them.

Nope, its a long term project and there is no end in site. As with every build I took it in to get a rollcage and came out with this so far, everyone that has worked on it has done amazing work and the day it does hit the dirt, all of the waiting will have been worth it. Also, I would rather do it right the first time by using the right people rather then finishing it fast for cheap.
