Ontario Off Road Racing Pictures

Hey everyone,
I know it is a bit far from most of you, but I thought I would post some pictures from the last Ontario Off Road Racing Association event. We had a good race...the Class 4 (unlimited full size trucks) count was down, but we had 3 Class 10 (Super Buggy) buggies from Quebec show up to play with our Class 10's. We have 2 more race left this year...Brockville on Sept 16/17 and Porl Colborne (Niagara Falls / Buffalo area) on Sept 30/Oct 1.

We have a class that is really starting to take of this year...Class 7. It is for stock 2wd, 4 cylinder mini trucks. All suspension mounting and pivot points are stock, as is the engine. They are allowed as many shocks as they want, but are not allowed coilovers. It is an inexpensive class that is great for beginners and veterans alike.

Looks like fun! Where's the pictures of the side-by-side bumpin' and bangin' ??? Are Canadian racers stereotypically friendly on the track? I've never met a mean Canadian. Except for hockey players. ;)

Jeff, most of the guys are pretty clean drivers, but the Class 7 guys were given a warning at the end of the day...this is about the only picture I have of bumping. I guess most of our guys are good enough drivers that they do not have to bump the other guy out of the way to pass them...

Pappawheely, funny you should ask that. I have been talking to some of the guys about running at the ice races...
