Trophy Truck Technical Information.

I'm very new here, but I have been in racing (primarily road racing and DIRT Modifieds), for more than thirty five years, and I'm very interested to learn more about the technical issues of Trophy Trucks, and Desert Racing in general.

In my career, I've found that listening to those who do it, is worth far more than trying to re-invent "the wheel".

you can get a good idea by checking out the SKUNKS section of the forum, there are some Trophy Trucks there and the basic information on them is available.

There's lots to see on RDC but you won't find much in the Shortcourse section, as TT's are for the dezert. There's nothing quite like going to the races and checking them out first hand.

If you're serious, start here. I don't know these guys, but I'm sure you can just stop by and take a look at what they're working on. You're lucky because they have a stellar, top-notch reputation, and they should be able to give you some sound advice. The eye-opener will be how much goes into a desert car compared to what you are used to seeing, regardless of class.
